Amanda's captivating sculptures are born from a deeply personal journey of resilience and recovery.
Following a severe car accident in 2009 which nearly claimed her life and resulted in significant physical injuries including multiple fractured limbs and traumatic brain damage, Amanda turned to art as a profound form of therapy.
Emerging from this horrendous ordeal she found herself battling not only physical pain but also grappling with profound depression and major memory loss. It was a long and arduous road to recovery one that demanded resilience and perseverance.
The results of creative and inspiring art practice has been both therapeutic and life changing. Her unique, colour-rich creations became her "Furry Anti-Depressants," helping her navigate ongoing post-traumatic stress disorder.

Amanda’s journey into the world of art was unconventional, lacking formal training her innate sense of style and unwavering confidence in her creativity have been her guiding lights. Today as she reflects on her remarkable evolution as an artist Amanda remains humbled and gratified by the happiness and joy her colourful creations continue to impart to others.
The immediate and enthusiastic response to her distinctive work quickly propelled Amanda into the art world. Her pieces were featured in the 2019 "Brilliant Creatures" exhibition at the Vivid Gallery in Surry Hills, selling five sculptures, including a significant acquisition by the CEO of BMG Music. The success of this show led to a highly acclaimed solo exhibition at the iconic Bondi Pavilion Gallery, which saw two of her pieces exported to the USA and Greece.
Amanda's commitment to sharing her art extends to her local Bondi Beach neighborhood, where she holds delightful mini-exhibitions with her charming Yorkshire Terrier, Dudley, who doubles as her PTSD service dog.
Her talent has been recognised beyond local circles, evidenced by her selection as a finalist in several art competitions.
While Amanda's artistic talent is innate rather than formally trained, her creations reflect her lifelong confidence in expressing her individuality. Amanda delights in the happiness and joy her vibrant sculptures bring to their admirers.
